Green Hydrogen

For many industrial processes, electrification is too expensive or not technically feasible to implement, so an alternative zero carbon combustion fuel is required.

We are developing a portfolio of green hydrogen production hubs across the UK, based on identified hydrogen offtakers, to support the UK’s Hydrogen Strategy.

Three initial projects have been shortlisted by DESNZ for funding support: Barrow Green Hydrogen, Trafford Green Hydrogen and Langage Green Hydrogen. Follow the links below for more information on each project.
